Ronald K. Hatfield is the founder of Hatfield Legal Services, a general practice law firm that concentrates in Family Financial Protection Law and Small Business Protection Law. After a decade in the real estate and insurance fields, Ron earned his B.A. from WVU Institute of Technology in Montgomery, WV. He then earned both his Juris Doctor and M.B.A. degrees in 2006 from West Virginia University.
Ron accepted an appointment as a professor in family financial management with West Virginia University in 2009. He is the author of several financial related programs, including Financial Fortress, Marriage Cents, Law School Without a Silver Spoon or Legacy, and Financial Philosophy. Ron lives with his lovely wife, Anne, in Fairmont, WV. Ron spends a great deal of his working time in Charleston, WV. Ron and Anne have two dogs, Marco the German Shepherd, and Clancy the 18-year old Cocker Spaniel. Ron and Anne enjoy golfing, tennis, hiking, and playing musical instruments.
